An original 1995 letter of authenticity from Ginger K. Renner will accompany the lot.

Ginger Renner’s letter states in part, “In my opinion, this is a lifetime cast of this sculpture. According to Fred Renner’s records, this was modeled in 1924 and from the records of Nancy C. Russell the first bronze cast was consigned to the Corcoran Gallery on 11/1/24. Subsequent copies were sent to Tiffany’s on 2/18/25 and to the Biltmore Galleries [Los Angeles] 3/19/25. Renner’s records note that 10 casts were authorized by either Charles or Nancy Russell.”
