According to the artist, “The Clarion River is one of my favorite places to visit – a pristine waterway that passes through an old growth forest. I have many fond memories of canoe trips taken there in the past. As we paddled downstream it was easy to imagine being watched by eighteenth century warriors, or on a more peaceful note just seeing them in friendly conversation at the river’s edge.”
